View to Pedn Olva
Inspired by the view along the walkway between St. Ives RNLI station and Porthminster beach, this colourful oil study takes in the sea-facing historic buildings as well as the incoming tide, lapping against the harbour wall. Sketched in situ and then later completed in studio. Painted predominantly with a palette knife with a white wood frame. Monogrammed on the front and signed on the back.
