“Orange buoys”
Inspired by the lively, bobbing boats in the beautiful St. Ives harbour, this colourful oil painting study features six small craft tethered together. I was particularly drawn to the crystal-clear green waters, and darker blue shadows around the boats, as well as the assorted flotsam, ropes, and debris in each craft. Painted with a combination of palette knife and brush and framed in white wood. Monogrammed on the front and signed on the back.
