Clearing in the woods at Trelissick
Colourful oil paint study of the light in a clearing at Roundwood, on the Trelissick estate. These ancient woods, surrounding the Iron Age fort, have an abundance of wildlife and birdsong. I was drawn to this quiet, cool glade in amongst the plants and trees, with their many shades of green. Painted in an impressionistic style with a brush and framed in white wood. Monogrammed on the front and signed on the back.
